Hikma SHABANI did receive his B.Eng. (Electromechanical Engineering) from the University of Burundi, in 1996. He then received his M.Sc. (Computer and Information Engineering) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), in 2008. He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from International Islamic university Malaysia (IIUM), in 2014. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology (Unitech). His research interests are WSN protocols for Smart Grid applications and the applications of IoT technology for Remote Monitoring and Control System, Remote Monitoring and Control System, Electromagnetic Waves and Radiation, Etc.
